Los Campesinos! – By Your Hand

British group Los Campesinos! have just released the first single from their up-coming album Hello Sadness.  For those of you who are into the whole “chamber pop”/”twee”/”I’m British, therefore i don’t need to learn how to sing” movements, i strongly recommend you check out the Los Campesinos! blog, or view the video via the fancy fresh embedded youtube video that i will shortly be adding down there ↓ somewhere.
By Your Hand is a catchy synth-and-drums driven pop tune that, in my opinion, is the best thing the group have released since their debut full-length, Hold On Now, Youngster… I would in no way call it a “return-to-form” (nor would I want to), however By Your Hands is definitely a nice evolution of style that will most likely be embraced by a larger audience.  I do dearly miss that in-your-face glockenspiel though :(
